Do you need power at the venue?

Yes. Our espresso equipment needs a standard dedicated 110v household outlet within reach of where the cart sets up. If your space cannot provide one, tell us when you inquire and we will work out an alternative before the event.

Do you need a water hookup?

No. We arrive fully self contained with our own water, so no plumbing or hose access is required.

Can the cart handle stairs?

No. The cart cannot go up or down stairs. We need a flat, step free path from where we park to where the cart sets up. If the only route involves stairs, tell us early and we will find a workaround together.

How early do you arrive?

We arrive well ahead of your service start time to unload and set up, so please make sure the venue or space is open and accessible to us in advance.

What your San Francisco space needs

The hardest place we work, and none of it is a problem if it is sorted in advance.

A dedicated 110v outlet, near where the cart sits. Ordinary household power is fine. Sharing a circuit with the kitchen is not. Older halls and outdoor spaces are the ones to double check.
No water hookup needed. We bring our own. Nothing to plumb, no hose to hunt for.
A flat, step free route from the van to the cart. This is the one that catches people out. The cart does not do stairs. If steps are the only way in, tell us early and we will solve it before the day rather than on it.
About ten by ten feet. Room for the cart and a barista behind it, ideally out of the main walkway.
Tell us how exposed the spot is. San Francisco weather changes by the block and by the hour. Wind matters more than sun here, and a spot that is lovely at noon can be unworkable by four.
Let us in before the guests. We arrive well ahead to set up. Make sure the venue knows we are coming and when, so nobody is standing outside a locked door.

Do you really come into San Francisco from Manteca?

Yes. It is the furthest we travel and it works well for corporate events and activations, where the value of the booking justifies the trip. Travel is worked into your quote rather than assumed, so you see the number up front.

What do you need from a San Francisco venue?

Three things, and they matter more here than anywhere else we work. Somewhere we can legally stop to unload, freight elevator access if the space is not on the ground floor, and whatever certificate of insurance the building requires. Sort those and a city event runs as smoothly as any other.

Do you offer mobile barista services in San Francisco?

Yes. Every booking includes a trained barista working the cart, so hiring a mobile barista and booking the coffee cart are the same thing with us. We do not hire out a barista without the equipment, because the espresso quality depends on both.

How far in advance should I book?

Weekend dates in spring and fall book the furthest out, and December fills quickly with holiday parties. If you have a date in mind, checking early costs you nothing and holds your place in the conversation.

Can you serve outdoors in the summer heat?

Yes, and we do it often. Shade makes a real difference for the equipment and for your guests, so we will talk through placement with you. A cold brew or iced service is usually the stronger choice for a hot afternoon.

What if my venue has stairs?

The cart cannot go up or down stairs, so we need a step free route from where we park to where we set up. This is worth raising as early as possible. In most cases there is an alternative entrance, and in some cases an additional fee may apply for a more involved workaround.

How many guests can you serve?

That depends on your guest count and how long you want the bar open, which is exactly what we work out together when you inquire. Tell us the headcount and the window you have in mind and we will size the service to match.
